Education is widely recognized as the cornerstone of national development. In pursuit of this vision, Hayat Foundation has been at the forefront of advancing inclusive, formal, non-formal, and skill-based education programs across Pakistan. Our initiatives—both short-term and long-term—are designed to ensure that every child, regardless of background or circumstance, has access to quality education and learning opportunities.
Protection refers to safeguarding the rights, safety, and well-being of individuals—particularly vulnerable groups—from harm, abuse, exploitation, and violence. It involves both the prevention of risks and threats, as well as timely responses to incidents, while promoting dignity, respect, and equitable access to essential services and support systems. The ultimate goal of protection is to foster a safe and enabling environment where individuals can live with dignity and realize their full potential.
The Hayat Foundation, in collaboration with UNICEF and other international donors, implemented over 33 projects in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) sector. Key activities likely included initiatives to:
- Improve access to clean water
- Enhance sanitation facilities
- Promote hygiene practices
