Health Activities under Projects

Hayat Foundation, in collaboration with national and international partners, has conducted various health activities under different projects, including:

Health & Hygiene Awareness: 

Conducted awareness programs in schools, factories, madrassas, Child Protection Centers (CPCs), Non-Formal Education Centers (NFECs), and Early Childhood Centers (ECCs).

Children Health Clubs:

Established 600 health clubs in schools across Punjab to promote healthy practices among students.

Reproductive Health & Disease Prevention:

Provided orientation sessions on reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) for madrassa students.

Hepatitis Screening & Vaccination:

Facilitated safe screening services for Hepatitis B and C in schools, along with vaccination against Hepatitis C.

First Aid Training:

Delivered first aid training to students and out-of-school children in 160 schools across Faisalabad and 600 schools in Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, and Rajanpur.

Capacity Building of Health Workers:

Trained Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) on sterilization of medical equipment and safe blood transfusion practices.

Teacher & Caregiver Training:

Delivered health and hygiene training to teachers and caregivers in Rajanpur, benefiting children in 160 schools.

Community Engagement:  

Organized over 1,100 community meetings on health and hygiene through field staff, directly reaching more than 25,000 individuals in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and the former FATA region.

Disease Prevention Campaigns:

Implemented polio and dengue prevention campaigns, including a dedicated dengue awareness project in Peshawar with distribution of protective materials.

Mother & Child Health (MCH) Services:

Established MCH centers in underserved areas of Faisalabad to provide essential health services for mothers and children.

Advocacy & Outreach:

Supported communities with health-related advocacy, awareness sessions, and outreach initiatives, empowering them to adopt safer health practices.
