Winter Relief Kits

Phase-I & II Summery)Under the project “Shelter NFIs and Winter Relief Kits distribution Project 2023-24, in Pakistan”, generously funded by KSrelief, the Phase-I and Phase-II have been successfully completed. In Phase-I, we distributed 4,000 comprehensive NFI Kits in flood-affected districts of Punjab, specifically Kasur, Vehari, Layyah, and Rajanpur. Each kit included essential items such as shelter materials, floor mats, solar panels with bulbs, kitchen sets, 2 thermal blankets, water coolers, soap etc.
Moving on to Phase-II, we extended our reach by distributing 25,000 winterization kits in critical areas, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Upper Chitral, Lower Chitral, Upper Dir, Upper Swat, Upper Kohistan), Balochistan (Kalat, Surab, Killah Saifullah, Ziarat), and Gilgit-Baltistan (Ghizer, Astore, Gupis-Yasin). Each winterization kit comprised 2 polyester quilts, 1 gentlemen’s shawl, 1 ladies’ shawl, 3 pairs of male socks, 3 pairs of female socks, 4 pairs of children’s socks, 2 adult caps, 2 children’s caps, 2 warmer suits for males, 2 warmer suits for females, 1 sweater for girls, and 1 sweater for boys.
The successful completion of both phases underscores our commitment to providing essential relief to those affected by natural disasters, particularly during the challenging winter season.
