Inclusive Education

Hayat Foundation launched three remarkable programs in Faisalabad to support children with special needs. We launched the Inclusive Education, Community-Based Rehabilitation programs, and Hayat Compal Centre in collaboration with PWTD (Punjab Welfare Trust for the Disabled). This partnership highlights the foundation’s efforts to work with like-minded organizations to provide essential services and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting inclusivity and empowerment.
  1. Inclusive Education: Enrolled around 500 slow learner students in 35 street schools, with special teachers visiting daily to provide education and conduct sessions with students, teachers, and mothers.
  2. Community-Based Rehabilitation: Divided Faisalabad into six regions, appointing trained Community Resource Persons (CRPs) to visit homes, provide training, and conduct sessions with mothers to improve the care and behavior of mentally targeted children.
  3. Hayat Compal Centre: A specialized center in Madina Town, Faisalabad, where 30-40 mentally targeted children received daily training and therapy from trained teachers and psychologists, focusing on behavior improvement and skill development.

These programs demonstrate the foundation’s commitment to providing support and opportunities for children with special needs, working to improve their lives and futures.
