Provision of Safe Drinking Water

The Hayat Foundation, in collaboration with UK-based Penny Appeal and other Muslim charities, implemented projects to provide safe drinking water in districts Khanewal and Faisalabad. Key activities included:

– Installing hand pumps and water sources

– Providing safe drinking water at community and school levels

– Conducting health and hygiene sessions with communities and school children

– Training sessions for hand pump repair

– Installing solar pumps and submersible pumps in various areas, including Mianwali district in collaboration with UNICEF

– Installed 2,500+ hand pumps and submersible pumps and 166 water bladders in schoo ls and communities.

These efforts demonstrate the foundation’s commitment to improving access to safe drinking water and promoting health and hygiene awareness in the communities they serve.
